Dream holiday in Bonaire, the Caribbean
This holiday in Bonaire is planned to show you the true essence of this Caribbean paradise, in company of sailing skippers with love for the hospitality, sea, Sun, sailing, coasts and sea depths. Specifically, the travel itinerary is to visit the best of the west, south and north of Bonaire.
The first day is focus on the West of the island. We will pick you up from the airport, or place of stay and check in. We can take the opportunity to do some shopping, investigate the boat and give the required safety indications on board a boat, as your comfort and security is the most important thing to us. In the afternoon we will set off for a walk to Klein Bonaire, one of the most beautiful places in Bonaire for snorkeling. At the end of the afternoon, the captain leaves the ship for your privacy.
The second day we will visit the South of Bonaire. We will start after lunch, so you can have a relaxing time in the morning, or snorkel around the boat. Afterwards, we will have a few hours of exciting sailing, which will take us to the incredible views of the Bonaire salt flats. We can always make stops for snorkeling in special places. We will come back watching the sunset over the sea.
On the last day we sail to the North and if sea conditions allow us, we will visit the Washington Slagbaai National Park and snorkel in the most turquoise waters of this Caribbean island.
Sleeping on a boat in Bonaire
The Bavaria 36 sailboat measures 11.4 meters (36 feet), is from 2005 and has three cabins with a double bed in each, accommodating up to 6 crew members.
If at the end of the three-day Caribbean route you want to extend for a couple of extra days just tell us. Any request you have you just have to let us know! We will do anything to make a holiday adapted to your needs.
In the evenings the boat is moored to a marina or private mooring buoy and the captain leave the boat, you will be allow to use a small raft to transport you to the coast in case you want to visit the streets of Bonaire or eat in its restaurants.
Each day there will be 6 hours of sailing with the captain, but in the evenings you will enjoy the privacy and calm of the sea with the boat at your disposal. You can cook on the sailing boat, take the option to hire a private chef or visit the restaurants on the Caribbean coast. Meals are not included but a welcome package with some food on the first day.
The trip does not include the marine fees of the ports (25$ per person - 45$ diving). Water sports equipment such as kayaks, paddle boards or fishing are available for an extra price. Snorkeling equipment is included. Optional car rental with extra price.
