About the experience

Get on board with our association to spend a weekend with your friends or your family. The Gulf of Poets, in addition to the beauty of its landscapes, offers a perfect marine environment for navigation: the protected marine space within the Gulf is broad and navigation is allowed even in the great harbor. The wind, especially in the afternoon, is almost always present. An ideal place to surf. But also where to enjoy the bays, the sun and the sea.

Life on board is relaxed and fun, making new friends and working together to manage life together. Those who want to enjoy the sun and those who want to learn will find in our skipper a valid teacher who will gladly give the rudder to those who want to try their luck and will support it with valuable advice. On board, everyone can choose freely if they want to relax and enjoy the holidays with total serenity, or if they wish to enter the game by experimenting with maneuvers or taking the helm (under the captain's supervision). All are asked to participate in life on board, all they want and can do, in an atmosphere of fun and mutual collaboration.

Weekend program:

The program that we think will allow you to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Gulf of La Spezia:

On Friday afternoon we boarded and stayed in the cabins, then a brief briefing by the skipper on life on board and the security team. For dinner you will go ashore to taste the local seafood delicacies.

On Saturday morning we will sail to admire Portovenere from the sea, with the ancient church of San Lorenzo, the Doria castle and the Byron cave. Then we will visit the island of Palmaria, with its beautiful coves, where we can stop for a good swim, the islet Tino and the small Tinetto. At night we will anchor in the canal in front of Porto Venere to admire all its beauty even at night.

On Sunday morning we will go to the town of Tellaro, considered one of the most beautiful in Italy, and on our way back we will stop at the Bay of Lerici, which with its beautiful castle will be the scene of another regenerative stop and our lunch. Alternatively, if the weather and the conditions of the sea allow it and the guests request it, on Saturday morning we will be able to go north and walk along the Cinque Terre, which we will arrive in approximately 3 hours of navigation. In Vernazza we will be able to disembark with the typical gozzo of Tonino of Liguria (that will come to take us on board to accompany us to the ground), while in Monterosso it will be possible to stop for the night and disembark with the rubber boat. On Sunday we will return to the sea to sail towards the return.

NB: The program may suffer variations according to the weather and sea conditions and the options of the guests on board

All guests must participate in life on board (prepare meals and organize the boat) in an atmosphere of fun and mutual collaboration. A common fund will be created for guests to share the additional charges. To be able to board, you must have our annual membership card (for tax purposes we can not accept anyone who is not a member), so at the time of boarding, we will ask you to complete an application for admission to the association and pay the fee. corresponding membership fee. Our social card also includes sports insurance, in fact, we are affiliated with UISP, which provides insurance coverage.

WHAT TO BRING: In the cabin you will find a blanket and pillows, remember to bring a pillow case and sheets or "sleeping bag". Carry a soft bag or backpack (not a rigid suitcase) and a pair of shoes with a clean white sole (for use only on board); a good sunscreen, sun and sunglasses (not allowed to use solar oil on board), a swimsuit and a towel, but also a sweatshirt for the night and a jacket for the wind.

HOW TO GET TO THE BOARD: By train: stop La Spezia Centrale, then there is a bus (n 11 or P, both go towards Porto Venere) that will take you to Fezzano. By car: motorway to La Spezia, then follow the signs for Porto Venere (not Cinque Terre) SP530 to Fezzano. After booking, we will provide you with a map with all the details.

About the Host

I am from Trieste, I love the sea very much and sailing.

I soon started going to sea, at the age of two my parents already took me on the family boat.
In elementary school I attended the sailing school at the Società Triestina della Vela, continuing my education as a teenager.
I participated in the club regattas, and in the Barcolana (about fifteen editions).
In 2009 I obtained the license to drive pleasure boats without limits at the Port Authority of La Spezia.
In the same year I worked at the sailing school "Deadeimari" sailing with them all summer
In 2010 I was skipper, first in Rome and then in Ionian Greece, for the Circolo Velico Lucano. With the same circle I also trained the boys in Basilicata.
In 2019 I attended the basic UISP course and the TED 1 ° course to perfect my teaching skills.
In 2011 with friends I founded an amateur sailing sport association with the aim of spreading this passion of mine and bringing as many people as possible to the sail.
I believe that water is the primary element of life and that respecting it, and respecting the world that hosts us, is our duty.
The sailboat moves with the wind, does not pollute and makes us feel the force of nature.
On my boat there are solar panels to have clean electricity and all electrical equipment is energy-saving.
I like to share the respect for the sea and nature with my guests and for this we are equipped on board for the separate collection of waste and we try not to waste water and energy.
