Motor Boat Rias Baixas 

Our motor boat has plenty of room for a family or a group of friends. Capacity for a maximum of 8 including the skipper, it can be rented with the PNB license (or higher). We also accept many international licenses. Contact us to check. 

We also rent the boat with skipper if your group does not have someone with the relevant experience (in Spain it is a legal requirement to possess a license which fits the size of the boat).

It has a large deck, open bow, awning / bimini top, padded seats in the bow which convert into a solarium, and in the stern and helm there are bench seats.

It has a capacity for 8, though we recommend up to seven including the skipper if your group is all adults. It has a Suzuki 140HP (4-stroke) engine that is very efficient and enough power to do watersports (depending on your group size, you may have to leave some people on shore if you want to do Wakeboarding).

It is a very comfortable boat to enjoy a day at sea, and has space to store things in the cabin.

Perfect for exploring the Pontevedra estuary, the Aldán estuary or visiting the Atlantic islands of Ons.

A permission is required to anchor around the islands of Ons (and the other Atlantic islands) which we can arrange, provided that there is enough advance notice, as there is a cap on the number of boats which can anchor at each island daily.

When rented without skipper the boat must stay within 8 miles of the port. This means that the boat must stay within the Ria of Pontevedra, Ria of Aldan, or out into open sea as far as Ons, but no further without prior agreement for very experienced skippers.

However, there is much to see in that area - from the bays of Bueu (for example the beach of Lapaman) and the coves of Aldan, and why not make a stop for lunch in beautiful Combarro or port of Beluso.

Visit the Rías Baixas and the Atlantic Islands National Park on this one-week journey in which we will navigate the three most emblematic estuaries of Galicia: the Arousa estuary, the Pontevedra estuary and the Vigo estuary. In addition, we will visit the three most important islands that form this national park, with the highest degree of environmental protection in the country: Ons, Cíes and Sálvora.

These three estuaries offer unique conditions for sailing at any time of the year, so they are ideal for enjoying the sea, nature, tranquility and relaxation that this unique environment offers us. We will visit the beach chosen and ranked as the best among the 10 most beautiful in the world, according to the prestigious British magazine The Guardian.

Also during the week, if you feel the curiosity, you can participate in all the maneuvers and tasks of navigation: moorings, handling of sails, of the rudder ... You will also learn nautical terminology and interpretation of the meteorology for the election of the best route, etc. You will be a true sea lion in full swing. An experience you will remember a lifetime!

Program:

Day 1:
Boarding at 10:00 a.m. We will depart at 10:30 after accommodating ourselves, a brief presentation and navigation tips.
We will travel to Ons Island. Lunch on board or in one of the restaurants on the island. We will have time to visit it, bathe in its beaches, etc.
Already in the afternoon, we will sail along the estuary of Pontevedra, where we will decide if we spend the night anchored or in any of the ports of the same.

Day 2:
We will depart to navigate the Ría de Aldán where we will anchor to enjoy its wonderful beaches of clear and crystalline waters. Food on board
In the afternoon we will head to the Vigo estuary, where we will anchor to spend the night on board.

Day 3:
We will visit Cíes Islands, its beaches, its routes with marked routes, its protected species, etc.
In the afternoon we will depart again towards the Vigo estuary to get to know the southern part of it.

Day 4:
We start sailing north towards the estuary of Pontevedra, where we will visit its most emblematic ports, such as Sanxenxo or Combarro, where we can visit its stores, shops, restaurants, etc.

Day 5:
Crossing back to the Arousa estuary, where we will anchor in one of its paradisiacal beaches to eat on board. Navigation to base port.
Docking about 7:00 p.m.

At 7:30 p.m., end of the experience, comments, thanks, farewells, etc.
