* It is not necessary to have a skipper's permit or license to rent this boat. You don't need sailing experience to enjoy a well-deserved sailing vacation. When you get to the base, you will be given a very detailed tutorial on all aspects of your ship. After your navigation course, you will be given a temporary permit that lasts only for the days of your vacation.

Sailing on beaches and cities in France

The departure base of your accommodation at sea is Port Cassafières. Port Cassafières is perfect for families, with the sandy beach of Portiragnes. Within 1 hour of cruising are the fairgrounds, adventure golf and the Vias go-karts. A short 2-hour cruise west will take you to Béziers, a city steeped in history, art and culture with the passage of the famous seven Fonseranes locks.

The return base, after this 7-day trip through the Canals of France, is Castelnaudary, a quiet town with a great variety of things to see. If you want to take photos, don't miss the views of the Black Mountain from the Cugarel Mill viewpoint. It is an ideal point of departure / arrival for those who want to enjoy nature and villages full of charm. A 7-night westbound cruise will take you to the dynamic city of Toulouse. However, most of our customers choose to sail east. Because with just two days of cruise you can reach the spectacular medieval city of Carcassonne, the second most visited tourist attraction in France.
